Happy Canarian Day!

Today is Día de Canarias, a time for celebrating the Canarian way of life and our autonomy from the mainland of Spain, this year marks the 30th anniversary. It's also a great day to tell you abut the new Canary Islands Tourism campaign called Shine Again, aimed at highlighting the beautiful all year round climate of the Canary Islands to attract stressed out Europeans in need of some sunshine and a break from their daily routine.

Here's a special message from Stefanie in Fuerteventura for you......

And the main one for all of the Canary Islands, we like the tune which is getting some attention, apparently it was specifically created for the Shine Again campaign.

Fuerteventura Car Hire

There are many companies offering car hire services in Fuerteventura but we think you’ll be pushed to find a better deal than Plus Car which is why we have selected them as our recommended partner. Plus Car have 23 years of experience and offices all across the islands and they offer delivery and collection from Fuerteventura airport.

The Plus Car fleet is constantly renewed so that all of their cars are under six months old and they have some really interesting choices with a good selection of manufacturers from VW, Mercedes, Seat and Peugeot. How about hiring a Cabriolet for the week? Or maybe have fun in a 4 X 4? Or perhaps something more practical like a VW Golf or VW Transporter?
